We're looking for customer enthusiasts who can help home and business owners navigate a remodeling investment. While you will certainly be expected to soak up product knowledge, your most important trait is the ability to bond with prospective customers. You're the kind of person that customers naturally like and trust.Our best sales associates view themselves as a business within the business, leveraging their personal brands alongside our powerful national and local branding. As such, you should be equally comfortable greeting customers in the showroom and promoting our store. While you place a premium on the customer experience, you also don't hesitate to close when the time is right. You have the conviction to do what's right for your customers by helping them acquire the flooring of their dreams! Since most of our products are installed, you should also care deeply about the beauty and quality of a job done right. Take care of our customers and you can look forward to a competitive income with regular hours and a ton of satisfaction. Duties Expectations for the Sales Consultant Maintain a clean and neat showroom Provide outstanding customer service Handle sales from start to finish Sell flooring and remodeling Answer customer questions Help customer with decorating and/or handing over to our designer for advice Making the most of in store, phone and internet leads Following up with clients Undergo product and sales training to become a flooring professional Requirements Qualifications for the Sales Consultant Retail sales experience a plus Passion and/or experience decorating or designing Self-starter Personally well-organized Microsoft Office a plus Work hours 9-5 to include Monday thru Saturday with one day off Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Nice To Haves Previous flooring, installing, sales or remodeling experience a plus Benefits How to Apply Please supply: An up-to-date resume highlighting your related experience Salary requirements We take phone calls Candidates who meet our selection criteria will be contacted by e-mail or phone for the next step in our hiring processThank you for your interest in our position.
