We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to become an integral part of our maintenance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on machinery maintenance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment. Preventive Maintenance: Execute planned preventive maintenance PPM tasks to ensure machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimized. Breakdown Response: Quickly respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing issues to restore normal operations. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to improve equipment performance and overall production efficiency. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machinery performance. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations. Working Hours: Shift Pattern: Double days Monday to Friday with flexibility required Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably within the food manufacturing industry, though candidates from other industries are welcome. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance practices. Engineering Discipline: Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering. Problem-Solving.
