About the role: CHANEL is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Insights Team in New York. You will act as a strategic business partner to Chanel's three divisions by helping answer key business questions through a consumer lens. You will help the organization understand consumer behavior, market dynamics, and trends through the execution of primary research and ongoing data analysis. Our ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience and a passion for data analysis, social analytics and luxury consumer experience. What impact you can create at CHANEL: Co-lead the Insights' team's partnership with Fragrance & Beauty, Fashion, and Watch Fine Jewelry division leader clients to understand key business challenges and propose how they can be answered through consumer and external perspectives to drive actionAct as a subject matter expert for the Social Analytics practice, including:Thought leadership and innovation based on evolving landscape and platformsRegular reporting on trends, signals and competitive landscapePartnering with PR and Media to holistically analyze paid, owned and earned socialManaging vendors and evaluating potential new toolsExpanding use cases across the organizationLead, design, analyze, and implement proprietary research studies (quantitative and qualitative), including management of vendor relationshipsSet and measure KPIs holding teams accountable for the resultsAnalyze and storytell the correlation between cultural and marketplace trends and its impact on business resultsCollaborate with divisions on task forces and test-and-learns to measure success from a client perspectivePartner with Global Insights team on locally relevant Global work and studiesSupport across other Insights Practices What you will bring to the team: 8+ years of experience in a data-driven role, ideally working with luxury and/or global brandsStrong analytical skills including statistical analysis and mastery of ExcelPreferable to have experience with survey creation or customer experience measurement tools (ie: Medallia, Qualtrics)Preferable to have experience with social listening platforms (ie: Netbase, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Social Standards) and related KPIs and measurementsStrong communication and presentation skills, including poise and manner to represent Chanel with internal and external audiencesExperience using data to story tell, crafting decks that report results in a compelling wayHighly collaborative and flexible/adaptable to different environments and ways of workingCurious and comfortable working with ambiguityMBA a plus Position Logistics: Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the designated location/office. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position.
