In this role, you will provide financial support and analysis for rate development and setting, accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, operational expense evaluation and budgeting. You will also work collaboratively with accounting, budget and program management staff to identify policy and information needs. Apply today! A day in the life: Reconcile timecard labor allocation in our accounting system.Maintain cost models that support labor allocation and other rate based equipment.Maintain cost allocation models for indirect cost reimbursement.Create business line reports.Setup expenditure accounts in our accounting system.Research incorrect expenditure charges and prepare journal entries for correction.Assist in the development of financial training and provide individual training.Work is performed in an office environment and may require occasional travel to attend meetings and significant overtime. Minimum qualifications for a fiscal analyst 2: Five years of progressively responsible experience that included the preparation, analysis, and administration of a budget or fiscal system. OR Five years of professional-level experience in accounting, fiscal auditing, management or program analysis. Experience must have included modeling, forecasting and analyzing fiscal information. OR Successful completion of the Department of Administrative Services Budget and Management Public Administrative Trainee Program. Note: A bachelor's degree in business, public or non-profit management, finance, accounting or a related degree (such as public policy, political science, public administration, economics or other analytical or technical degree) may substitute for three years of the required experience. A graduate-level degree in any of the above areas may substitute for four of the five years. Minimum qualifications for a fiscal analyst 1 (underfill): Three years experience in management, policy or program analysis, or technical-level budgetary support activities. OR A bachelor's degree in business, public or non-profit management, finance, accounting or a related degree (such as public policy, political science, public administration, economics or other analytical or technical degree).
