Ready to join our driven and talented individuals who care about protecting the rights of responsible self-defenders?The Sr. Financial Modeling Analyst provides accurate and data-based information on a company’s profitability, assessment of value generated initiatives, benchmarking, and predicting trends. You will research and analyze financial information to help company make well-informed decisions, write reports, and monitor financial movements. The salary for this position is $175,000, commensurate with experience. Duties/Responsibilities Development of complex financial models to analyze historical data and predict future trends. Utilize various modeling techniques and software tools to create accurate financial forecasts for revenue, expenses, and other key metrics. Conduct proper data analysis so realistic inferences can be extracted from your analysis. Conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations and potential cost savings and articulate rationale for cost savings opportunities including results of sourcing metrics to Executive leadership. Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models. Review actual data vs. forecasts/quotes, investigate cost variances, develop tools for improving the forecasting, and trend analysis. Summarize results and report recommendations to management. Originate new systemic approaches to gathering, capturing, tracking, and mining data. Creative ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making in new business initiatives. This will include preparing and reviewing a variety of complex financial data and will maintain and update the marketing/sales financial models and forecasts. Assist the CFO to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and implementation of strategic planning initiatives from a financial perspective based on modeling insight. Prepare ad hock models for the CEO. With time, the Analyst will help develop, maintain, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvements across departments. Requirements Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications Knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Excel Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all levels of management. Bachelor's degree in Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective financial report writing. Solid understanding of investment banking principles and practices Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Knowledge of corporate accounting principles Keen sense and diligence. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10-12 years of recent progressively responsible experience Experience in Strategic Long-Term Financial Planning Experience in Financial Forecasting, Modeling, and Analysis Experience in Multi-entity Corporate Accounting Experience with planning, budgeting, and forecasting systems.
