Job Overview:The Lateral Real Estate Partner will be responsible for bringing in and managing a portable business of at least $1 million in the field of real estate law. Duties:Bring in and manage a portable business of at least $1 million in real estate lawProvide strategic legal advice to clients on real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and developmentLead and manage complex real estate transactionsOversee real estate due diligence and title reviewCounsel clients on real estate investment and development strategiesMentor junior attorneys and provide guidance on complex real estate legal matters Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Bar in New YorkMinimum of 8 years of experience in real estate lawPortable business of at least $1 million in the field of real estate Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the Bar in New York Skills:Strong business development and client management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsLeadership and mentorship abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamIn-depth knowledge of real estate law and practice This general practice law firm has offices in New York and Washington, DC.
