Senior Maintenance Technician Needed in Milwaukee, WI! Shift: 2nd: 2:30pm-11:00pm (Mon- Fri)Pay: $32-36/hr plus shift differentialSummary: As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities. The role requires a robust technical aptitude and the ability to work individually or as part of a team.Job Duties:*Take a lead role in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.*Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures.*Conduct in-depth inspections and analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures.*Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of control systems.*Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and rectify problems.*Installs, programs, troubleshoots, and repairs programmable logic controller (PLC).*Performs electrical wiring from low voltage through 480-volt 3 phase industrial systems.*Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.*Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.*Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.*Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, mechanical maintenance), or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.*Journeyman electrical license is a plus.*Extensive experience in maintenance and repair of complex machinery and systems.*In-depth knowledge of advanced maintenance techniques, including predictive and condition-based maintenance.*Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for diagnosing and repairing complex issues.*Experience managing maintenance projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating resources.*Strong leadership skills to supervise and train junior technicians.*Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
