Riot Games, Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Engineer Player Platform in Los Angeles, CA. Job Duties: Develop and support Erlang based distributed services used by millions of players. Provide high quality software by writing unit, functional and integration tests. Participate as a code reviewer for other members of the team. Partner with product owners to create the best possible experience for players and game developers by providing clear insight into technical requirements and limitations. Participation in our team's on-call rotation. This position is based out of Riot Games, Inc.'s office in Los Angeles, CA. Telecommuting is permitted within commutable distance of this location. Periodic on-site attendance will be required. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related quantitative discipline and 1 year of experience in software engineering, or related occupation. Special Skills:1) Kafka and SQL;2) Postgres;3) ;5) Kotlin;6) Data Modeling;7) Jenkins and Docker; and8) AWS fundamentals. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
