The ideal candidate will have a robust background in insurance coverage representing policyholders or insurers, combined with litigation experience. The candidate must be licensed to practice in Florida.Job Duties:Analyze and interpret first- and third-party insurance policies.Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including litigation.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on insurance coverage issues.Provide legal counsel and advice directly to clients.Participate in mediations and negotiations on behalf of clients.Develop and execute strategies for complex insurance coverage cases.Maintain and update client files and case management systems.Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal services.Participate in firm marketing and business development initiatives.Engage in pro bono legal work as required.Requirements:3-5 years of insurance coverage experience representing policyholders or insurers.Litigation experience.Licensed to practice law in Florida.Strong analytical and writing skills.Familiarity with first- and third-party insurance policies and principles of insurance policy interpretation.Demonstrated leadership and initiative.Comfortable working directly with clients and colleagues.Strong academic record.Commitment to client service.Willingness to participate in pro bono matters.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the Florida Bar.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing abilities.Strong oral and written communication skills.Proficient in legal analysis and problem-solving.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Effective negotiation and mediation skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.High level of professionalism and ethical standards.Proficiency with legal research databases and case management software.Job Location:Miami, FL This firm's clientele ranges from government agencies to multinational corporations and individuals, with offices throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
