Pike is an adorable male spitz mix,11-12 weeks old. He will likely be under 40 lbs. when full grown. His mother appears to be an American Eskimo Dog and weighs about 30 lbs., but we don't know who his father is! He has been in foster care with the rest of his litter and mom while they've been recovering from terrible neglect. He is doing much better now and is ready for his own home and loving people! Pike is very eager for attention and snuggles. He's been picked on a bit by his four sisters, but he's been a good sport about it! He has a nice white and biscuit colored coat. He seems to be sensitive to the spring pollen, that's why his eyes are watering in some of his photos. Pike is not yet fully housetrained, but he has been using papers in his kennel at night. He has all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been microchipped. For more adoption information, please visit our website. Kittens and cats are $80. The adoption fee includes vet exam, first set of vaccines, microchipping, Feline Leukemia test for cats, Heartworm test for dogs. Also, includes rabies vaccine and spay/neuter at appropriate age. A completed and approved adoption application is required before meetings are arranged. The foster home is responsible for approving adoptions.Shelter locationAdoption fairs are held monthly at PetSmart, Wilkesboro, NC. Prospective adopters with approved applications will be contacted by the foster homes to arrange meetings.
