Smokey is the happiest and sweetest dog! He has Lab energy but is amazingly gentle and controlled. He can run and play with my two grandchildren and not jump on them or overpower them. He will even let the human win the race even though he could have easily won. He is great in the house too. He seeks out human touch and approval consistently. He never met a stranger and is good with everyone and other dogs. He is just sooo laid back and easy going...he is wonderful. Smokey came to us through family members when their son's home burned down and he was not able to return and claim them. Smokey was one of only two adult dogs that survived the fire. The house was a total loss. Please consider giving this sweet affectionate and very smart dog the loving home that he deserves. Smokey has completed all of his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, neutered and is microchipped. He is ready for the love of a family and his forever home! All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog.
