Position Overview: Join our exceptional team of dedicated educators in a supportive, child-centered learning environment. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and enriching space for young learners. Using an emergent curriculum based on constructivist theory, you will advance physical and intellectual competence while supporting social and emotional development. Positive guidance, establishment of productive relationships with families, and commitment to professionalism are essential aspects of this role. Responsibilities: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment Advance physical and intellectual competence through an emergent curriculum Support social and emotional development and provide positive guidance Establish positive and productive relationships with families Ensure a well-run, purposeful program responsive to the needs of young children Maintain a commitment to professionalism Qualifications: ECT qualified in the state of Colorado (PDIS credential 3.0 2-6) Previous teaching experience in a licensed early childhood center preferred Knowledge of the social, emotional, and cognitive needs of young children Familiarity with state licensing and health department rules and regulations Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and freely move with very young children CPR Certification (Preferred) Job Type: Full-timePay: N/AExpected hours: 30 – 39 per weekBenefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Powered by JazzHR
