We're looking for a full-time, friendly dental assistant in our new state-of-the-art office. Your primary job will be to assist our surgeon in serving our patients in achieving dental health and improved confidence ensuring they leave our practice feeling well taken care of. Additional responsibilities include assisting our nurse in providing facial esthetic treatments using the latest technology. Responsibilities: --- Aid dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients' mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist --- Tell patients what oral hygiene steps they need to take in order to prevent infection after dental procedures --- Ensure the patient area is ready for exams and procedures by prepping equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and cleaning and laying out dental instruments --- Record each patients treatment information during their visit and ensure dental records have the most current information --- Walk patients through a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile Qualifications: --- Basic data entry and computer skills --- Have the ability to give patients exceptional care and service --- Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills --- Must have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience About Company: The Center for Dental Implants is a small, patient-focused practice.
