The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related discipline and must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.Duties:Draft and prosecute patent applications in the field of biological sciences.Conduct IP due diligence and Freedom to Operate (FTO) analyses.Collaborate with attorneys and clients to assess patentability and provide strategic advice.Assist with patent portfolio management and IP litigation support.Requirements:Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related discipline.Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.2 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Experience in a law firm environment is desirable.Excellent academic credentials.Outstanding organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.Skills:Proficiency in drafting patent applications and responding to office actions.Strong understanding of patent laws and regulations.Ability to conduct thorough IP due diligence and FTO analyses.Excellent research and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Education:Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related discipline.Certifications:Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
