Role: Cybersecurity Project Manager Duration: 10 Months (Potential for extension) Location: Chicago, IL Hybrid 3-4x per week Job Description Summary - Project Manager, Cybersecurity Office Our Cybersecurity Office (CSO) provides world-class high performing portfolio, program and project management capabilities across the Information Security (Infosec) group. WHAT WE EXPECT YOU'VE ALREADY DONE: Qualifications (must-haves) 8+ years of project/program management Managed projects in the Financial Services industry Schedule management Risk and issue management Budget and financial management Coordination and communication across teams Managed large projects using Agile/Waterfall methodologies Managed large projects using Azure Boards Earned a B.A. or B.S. degree in a business or technology field of study The kind of people we look for: Versatile associates who thrive on variety and challenge with a "Can Do" attitude Proven leaders with strong growth and delivery track records and mindsets. Ability to work from home and Chicago office 3x's per week Some Alternate Expectations (Nice to Have's) Past Successful PM Experience at Northern Trust Knowledge of Northern's Paragon Project Execution Framework Cybersecurity PM Experience (Cybersecurity engineering experience or subject-matter expertise is not required) Experience working in a global, highly regulated financial institution WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: Project Overview / Contractor's Role We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be assigned to one or more of Northern Trust's large book of cybersecurity projects that require project management best-practices and rigor to execute and successfully deliver on time and on budget. Drive hard-working global teams consisting of employees and onshore/offshore consultants from multiple vendors. Manage projects with teams that consist of technology engineers, solution architects, business analysts, scrum masters, and application owners. Partner with key business and technology stakeholders in the delivery of critical technology initiatives to meet our strategic goals. Responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of Infosec projects. Proactively identifies and mitigates risks that impact Infosec projects. Change agent for project management best-practices.
