Did someone say, "Hot Dish"? Yah, sure, you betcha! I'm a black, young adult male. Oh, fer cute, right? I had been seen hanging around a Country Club Manor neighborhood for a couple of months. Ope! I can tell you this - it wasn't hot! At the beginning of April, I began spending lots of time on and under the back deck of a wonderful family who gave me food and water. They provided me with a kennel that had a heated blanket in a sheltered area of the deck, so I had a warm place to sleep. They became quite attached to me, but because they already have three cats, they couldn't keep me. Uff da! I'm not just a good-looking feller, I'm friendly too. I like to be petted, and I let people hold me. I like to play, and I like cat chats! Luckily, their neighbor is a Paws and Claws volunteer, so she knew exactly where I could go to find a special home. What do you get when you have a cat who's handsome, polite, social, and playful? Cats-erole? Naw! Hot Dish, don't cha know! I need to be neutered before I can be adopted.Adoption fee $150 + microchip fee $30 + taxAdoption processPaws and Claws Humane Society (PCHS) is a non-profit, mostly volunteer organization that rescues and shelters homeless cats and dogs until they can be adopted into their “forever” homes. We want our clients to understand that adopting and animal is a lifetime responsibility and commitment to that animal. All prospective adopters must show (at the time of adoption) a valid drivers license or other acceptable identification to verify their name, address, and age. Adopters must be 18 yrs of age. Children under the age of 12 years old need to be present at time of viewing shelter cats or dogs. After submitting an application, there is generally a processing period of 1-3 days in order to complete all pre-adoption checks and paperwork before an adopter may take possession of the animal.
