JOB SUMMARY: Capital's Operations team is looking for a Lube Technician who will support the divisions with duties such as: Conducting repairs, inspecting machines, troubleshooting reported problems, perform thorough maintenance on all equipment, and assisting the team with other duties as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lift and carry material and equipment weighing up to 80 lbs Conduct repairs on machines, equipment, and fleet vehicles Perform thorough maintenance of all fleet vehicles, machines, and equipment Record tickets and keep logs of work and report on issues Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold) Perform site clean-up duties such as: Sweeping, shoveling, throwing away trash, using power washer to clean driveways and sidewalks Carry out safety policies in place to avoid hazards (setting up cones, utilization of proper equipment and tools, wearing required PPE) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: Drain Engine Oil and add new oil to a vehicle's engine Inspect engines for leaks top off other fluids in the transmission or braking system Perform tire pressure checks and rotations and inflate as needed Install new batteries, wiper blades, and air filters Diagnose issues and recommend repair work to mechanics Upkeep shop custodial duties Experience working outdoors in the elements (extreme heat and cold) Ability to carry up to 80 lbs Strong attention to detail and strong initiative - able to ask for direction once tasks are completed Reliable transportation Safety oriented mentality - Able to see potential job hazards and mitigate, as needed PREFERRED: 6 months experience Familiarity with heavy machinery BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid Time Off & Holiday Pay Eligibility for ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) - This allows you to have shares and ownership in the company!
