Job Description The Planning Director will lead a team that supports a growing product line of franchise programsThe candidate will have in-depth knowledge of planning processes and best practices, ability to implement continuous improvement and automationCandidate will bring a fresh perspective and systems expertise to better leverage how Planning can support the programsThe candidate will have expertise in current technology and tools and the vision to strategically plan and implement automated solutions and reduce manual processesThis candidate will have experience in end-to-end program life cycle, from proposal to program closeout, including scenario planningAerospace and Defense production experience is requiredThe ability to plan proactively and influence stakeholders is a mustFortitude to challenge the status quo and implement large strategic improvement projects is requiredThis candidate will be well versed in the latest industry best practices and drive efficiencies in the organizationThe Planning Director will have experience in building highly productive, motivated, autonomous, accountable, proactive teams with initiativeEstablishes clear measurable goals and objectives by which to assess individual and team results (i.emetrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, knowledge of roles and responsibilities, personal development goals)Drives individuals and teams to continuously improve in key metrics and the achievement of organizational goalsDrives a lean cultureIdentifies creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.emodification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems)#IJS Required Education, Experience, & Skills--- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to yield total supply chain solutions * Excellent relationship / interpersonal skills ;
