We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our new frozen assembly line at our Newark (NJ) facility with daily financial activities. Essential Functions --- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Frozen warehouse facility. --- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all goods, including inventory, receipts, transfers, and releases. --- Manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. --- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling, storage, and transportation of goods. --- Collaborate with suppliers, shipping agents, and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods. --- Optimize warehouse layout and storage capacity to maximize efficiency and minimize handling costs. --- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records. --- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with regulations and internal policies . --- Generate reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, and performance metrics . --- Maintain effective communication with internal teams . --- Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency. --- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
