Atticus is a five year old, 85 pound lab mix that was hanging out by the local chicken joint for a couple of weeks until someone got him and dropped him at a vet. It didn’t take long for him to win their hearts, and they couldn’t bring themselves to take him to the shelter. When no one came looking for him, they asked if we could take him. While we were waiting for space to open up, the staff at the clinic helped out by taking turns taking him home with them, and discovered that he was great in the house, great with kids and other dogs and loves to play fetch. One of his host was a bee keeper, and would refer to him simply as “Bee.” During the day, Atticus “Bee” would hang out with them in the office and everyone fell in love with this seemingly perfect pet. They were sad to see him go, but room opened up and we have him now. If you would like to foster to adopt this special boy, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com to fill out an application.
