Practice Area: Trusts and Estates - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Trust And Estates Associate Attorney to assist with the creation and implementation of wealth preservation strategies, business succession planning, and family-office planning.Job Details:Assist with creating and implementing wealth preservation strategies, business succession planning, and family-office planning.Have 2-5 years of sophisticated income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning experience for high-net-worth individuals.Prior experience drafting estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts, such as intentionally defective grantor trusts, is required.Experience with probate and trust and estate administration is preferred.Experience assisting in preparing IRS Form 709 (United States Gift (and Generation-Skipping Transfer)) Tax Returns and IRS Form 706 Federal Estate Tax Returns is desirable.Prior law firm private practice experience is a must.A degree in accounting, a CPA license, or an LL.M. in Tax is strongly preferred.Must have excellent academic and employment credentials.Must possess superior writing capabilities and thorough legal research prowess.Requirements:2-5 years of sophisticated income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning experiencePrior experience in drafting estate planning documentsExperience with probate and trust and estate administrationPrior experience in law firm private practiceDegree in accounting, CPA license, or LL.M. in Tax strongly preferredExcellent academic and employment credentialsSuperior writing capabilities and thorough legal research prowessSkills:Sophisticated tax planning skillsDrafting estate planning documentsProbate and trust and estate administrationPreparation of IRS Form 709 and IRS Form 706Legal researchExcellent writing abilitiesEducation/Certifications:Degree in accounting, CPA license, or LL.M. in Tax (strongly preferred) Prestigious downtown Atlanta law firm with a collegial atmosphere, where the attorneys have a life outside of work.
