Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cultivation Compliance Associate with expertise in BioTrack to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in our cultivation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cannabis cultivation practices, along with comprehensive knowledge of state and local regulations governing cultivation activities. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and manage compliance processes related to cultivation activities, utilizing BioTrack to track and document all relevant data accurately. Responsibilities 1. Utilize BioTrack software to monitor and document all cultivation activities, including plant inventory, growth stages, harvest data, and waste disposal.2. Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing cultivation operations, including but not limited to, licensing requirements, cultivation limits, security protocols, and recordkeeping.3. Conduct regular audits and inspections of cultivation facilities to identify any compliance issues or discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.4. Collaborate with cultivation team members to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.5. Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation, including but not limited to, license applications, renewal applications, and compliance reports.6. Stay informed about changes in cannabis regulations and update cultivation practices and procedures accordingly.7. Provide training and support to cultivation staff on compliance protocols and BioTrack usage.8. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.**Requirements:**1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role within the cannabis industry, with specific experience in cultivation compliance preferred.2. Comprehensive understanding of cannabis cultivation practices and regulations.3. Proficiency in BioTrack software with a demonstrated ability to effectively utilize its features for compliance purposes.4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.7. Familiarity with state and local cannabis regulations, preferably in CT.8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.**Preferred Qualifications:**1. Certification in cannabis compliance or related field.2. Experience working with regulatory agencies and conducting compliance audits.3.
