We're seeking a nurturing and proactive nanny to join our household and provide part-time care for our two wonderful daughters who are 5 years old and 2 years old. Our eldest may display some ADHD-related behaviors, and we appreciate a caregiver who can support her with patience and understanding. Both parents play an active role in parenting, with a blend of flexibility and structure to ensure our children's well-being. We're an active and empathetic family that values creativity, outdoor play, and positive reinforcement. We love spending quality time together, whether it's crafting indoors, exploring nature in the backyard, or engaging in sports and collaborative gaming on weekends. A bit about you : We're looking for a caregiver who embodies: excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a nurturing temperament. Our ideal nanny fosters a warm and encouraging atmosphere, particularly as we support our eldest daughter through her ADHD journey. We need someone who is active and outdoorsy, capable of keeping up with our children's energy levels during outdoor adventures. Safety is paramount, especially with a park nearby, so we seek a caregiver who is safety-oriented and vigilant. Creativity is valued in our household, so we hope to find a nanny who shares our enthusiasm for crafting and engaging with our extensive collection of books, board games, and crafts. Additionally, we prefer limited screen time and seek a caregiver who can uphold this preference while ensuring our children's needs are met. Job Duties will include: Providing attentive care for our youngest during the school year and both of our daughters during the summer. Supervising indoor and outdoor play, including crafts, walks to the park, and engaging with household toys. Preparing simple meals for lunch and assisting the children during meal times. Light housekeeping tasks, such as organizing toys, watering plants, and light tidying if both children are occupied. Start Date: As soon as the right fit nanny can start! Location: Duvall, 98019 Position Highlights : Excellent pay package. Guaranteed Hours. Fantastic city location. Parents will handle transportation for children; no driving required by the nanny. Qualifications : 2 years of prior nannying experience, glowing references from recent nanny positions, safety-oriented, patient, reliable, and engaging. Set yourself apart : Ability to engage children in age-appropriate activities. Love for the outdoors and athletic expertise is a plus but not required. Schedule: School Year Schedule: M/Th 8AM-1PM & Tu/W 8AM – 2PM Summer Schedule: starting the week of June 3 rd , M-F 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Pay: $28-35 an hour **All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired. *Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time.
