Our successful hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with a sales mindset to assist in helping grow our hotel. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue. You'll be in charge of responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills as well as previous sales experience. Please apply as soon as possible if this describes you! Responsibilities: • Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction for the hotel group• Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests• Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities• Create a list of business and referral leads through research and networking and make preliminary pitches• Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information Qualifications: • Stays organized and manage time well• Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field is a plus• Proven track record of sales success• Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities• Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required About Company: Built on stories from the past – like the one about Jimmy Hoffa and the North Tower or the one about the treasure chest at the bottom of the river just off the boardwalk – the St. Clair Inn is more than what you see.
