Job Summary The Director of Clinical Services, reporting directly to the Chief Program Officer (CPO), serves as a vital member of the program management team. The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations and maintaining policy compliance by overseeing the administration, supervision, and evaluation reporting for CBCST clinical therapists and intake coordinators. The Clinical Director will need to demonstrate advanced level of critical thinking skills, provide leadership, and consistent feedback to staff. Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: A. DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Participates in hiring and supervision of clinical staff/contractors/graduate level therapists and Internship Coordinators Provides supervision for graduate level, LPC Associate therapists and contract therapists. Ensure the clinical treatment program is effectively administered and meets regulatory requirements. Maintain quality assurance throughout the entire process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of client case records from the beginning of treatment through termination and follow-up. Identify services and support needed to address client problems and needs. Coordinates professional development, team building and self-care opportunities for center base staff therapists. Carry appropriate individual caseload. All other duties as assigned B. ADMINISTRATION Manages orientation and trainings along with Internship Coordinator for clinical staff/contractors/graduate level therapists. Conducts scheduled performance evaluations with staff and clinical therapists. Manages training and usage of Apricot, including ensuring accurate client data entered by clinical staff. Manages the client waitlist in collaboration with the Internship Coordinator. Manages therapist caseloads to comply with licensure standards. Custodian of Records for Center, primary contact for DFPS and records requests. Co-facilitates with Director of Grief Support Services weekly clinical Program Team Meetings. C. COLLABORATION Work closely with CPO to uphold the core values and principles of CBCSTs culture and create a positive working environment for all team members. Work closely with CPO to budget and monitor programmatic operations to ensure sound fiscal and system management. Weekly Directors meetings with CPO to ensure appropriate client services are being met. Maintains open communication and collaboration with all CBCST staff members and departments. Participates in awareness/education presentations and events as needed. EDUCATION/SKILLS/TRAINNING AND EXPERIENCE Masters degree in a relevant field (social work/counseling), clinical licensure of LPC, LCSW or LMFT with at least five years of post-licensure clinical experience. Minimum of five years of leadership experience with a proven track record of success Demonstrated experience managing a high-performing team exhibiting high levels of distress management critical for problem solving and crisis situations. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to represent CBCST. Experience in grief, loss and trauma for children and adults. Experience in working with diverse and multicultural populations. Strong organizational skills, time management skills and adept at multi-tasking Proficient use of computers, internet, social media, Microsoft Office suite of programs, and multi-line phone system Physical Requirements This position involves typical periods of sitting, walking, and clinical typing for documentation, with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, mobility within the office and the capacity to work with children of all ages. Clear verbal and written communication, along with basic reaching and dexterity skills, are essential for successful performance.
