Description: We are Lockheed Martin This position is for a continuous improvement/operational excellence subject matter expert for Enterprise Sustainment Quality.The candidate will be an experienced Lean and Six Sigma practitioner who will support Enterprise Sustainment Quality in the planning, management, and implementation of improvement projects within Sustainment Operations. You will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and communicating project status to internal and external customers and leadership. Strong facilitation skills are essential to this position. You will also serve as a coach and mentor of problem solving and improvement tools and applications within Global Sustainment. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline* Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening, presentation, and technical writing* Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities, and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment* Knowledge and experience with project management* Knowledge and experience with Six Sigma industry standard practices: Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Hypothesis Testing, Correlation, Regression, ANOVA or Analysis of Variance, & Design of Experiments (DOE)* 5+ years' experience in applying Lean/Six Sigma principles* Green Belt Certified Desired Skills: * Certified Master Black Belt, ASQ, SME, or Major University* Knowledge and experience with Strategy Development and Deployment* Experience using SAS JMP or Minitab statistical software on real world problems* Knowledge and experience with Problem Solving industry standard practices ( i.e., DMAIC, A3 Thinking, PDCA, RED-X)* Excellent MS Excel Skills* Ability to engage with all levels of employees, from new hires to executive leadership* Experience facilitating and apply tools for improvement projects at various stages in product lifecycle (i.e. planning, procurement, design, production, sustainment) Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing* Developing and coaching employees through problem solving* Experience in the following systems: Engineering drawing/requirements tools (i.e. PDM, EMAP, etc.), ALIS, FIN, ServiceFlo, Electronic Contracting Environment* Experience and familiarity with SAP, specifically material masters, sales orders, delivery orders, purchase orders, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), Material Movement, and Inventory Control Functions* Experience in Demand Management, Forecasting, Master Scheduling, Materials Requirements Planning, Capacity Requirements Planning, Manufacturing Order Management, Purchase Order Management, and Supply Chain Management* Knowledge and experience with the Theory of Constraints* Understanding of Supplier Quality Processes* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or MBA* Certified or trained in Prosci Change Management process Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
