Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

Minimum Clearance Required Secret Responsibilities I2X Technologies is a reputable technology services company to the Federal GovernmentWhether the focus is on space exploration, national security, cyber security, or cutting-edge engineering applications, I2X is ready to offer you the chance to make a real-world impact in your field and for your countryWe provide long-term growth and developmentHeadquartered in Colorado, I2X is engaged in programs across the country and in more than 20 statesOur programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.--- Maintains operations of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and perform system administration--- The team is responsible for monitoring and correcting system performance issues, backing up and restoring files, patching system and operating system software, maintaining software licenses and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management * Will work closely with the customer and peer personnel to accomplish these responsibilities * Provide on-the-job training on system configuration, assist in deploying software/hardware deliveries, support special projects, and assist operational crews and contractor teams in resolving system and network issues * Assist the Information Assurance team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues/incidents Qualifications--- Minimim of 9 years of experience, or 7 with an advanced degree * Must have Active Secret clearance to start, must be SCI eligible (preferred) * Adept with Red Hat Linux * Familiarity with Microsoft Windows * Awareness of IBM AIX and Cisco IOS * Background with Jira Server Managmeent (JSM) * Integration experince is a must * Knowledge/experience with CI/CD pipeline systems, virtualization, and software environment development is highly preferred * Security admin with cyber knowlege in Splunk / cyber security suite on a development program is highly preferred * Configuration management - RHEL/RedHat, Splunk, Ansible, JSM, Terraform, SaS scanning experience, PostGresSQL 9-15, Bash and Ansible are all highly preferred Essential Requirements: US Citizenship is requiredI2X Technologies is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected Veteran status, or disability statusIn compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed Please note that the salary information is a general guideline onlyI2X Technologies considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offerPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodationWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and stepsMay require walking long distance from parking to work stationOccasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be requiredThe employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many timesManual and finger dexterity are essential to this positionSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colorsThe employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and publicHearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environmentsLifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 poundsThis position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stressI2X Technologies is an Engineering and Information Technology Company focused on providing Services to the Federal and State GovernmentI2X offers a competitive compensation program and comprehensive benefits package to our employees.
