Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist - HCE Software

Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesAs a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing process for various categories of goods and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and negotiate contracts with suppliers. Your role will have a direct impact on cost savings, supplier performance, and overall supply chain efficiency. You will report directly to our Sourcing Manager and you'll work out of our Atlanta or Charlotte location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: ------- Conducting market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential suppliers ------- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery ------- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms ------- Managing supplier relationships and performance to drive continuous improvement ------- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and requirements ------- Monitoring market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement Benefits of working for Honeywell include medical, vision, dental, and mental health benefits, paid vacation, a 401k plan with matching, career growth opportunities, and professional development.You must have: 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement 1+ years demonstrated experience influencing others without direct authority. 1+ years demonstrated high impact results in process improvement, including across functions.We value:-- -- Bachelor's degree in science, Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related discipline Strong analytical and negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of sourcing best practices and market trends Demonstrated adaptability and passion for software/technology. Contract Management Experience Experience in the manufacturing or technology industry Certification in supply chain management or procurement. Demonstrated cost reduction experience in multiple spend segments. Experience leveraging analytics for measurable business improvement. Project Management Experience Demonstrated Business and financial acumen. Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools Expertise in core procurement systems including SAP & Compass High motivation with boundless energy to get stuff done.
