Job Summary Compass Group, the world's leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Financial Analyst with the Accounting Projects Team. Responsibilities: :Support / Lead Department Projects: :Identify process improvement opportunities.:Document process and requirements and review for gaps/improvements:Assist with problem/process resolutions.:Brainstorming and problem solving:Implement improvements : document, test, modify, train, etc...:Track and report project status to management:Cross:train and cross:skill on tasks throughout accounting department and project team as needed.:Improve Accounting reporting efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.:Contribute to transformation and simplification through process re:engineering and creating efficiencies.:Ad hoc analysis, reporting and project management as identified or assigned.:Promote use of technologies, tools, and platforms within accounting teams:Assist with RPA maintenance and monitoring and RPA incident resolution.:Assist with managing the RPA lifecycle, dashboards, and technical platforms for accounting, including development of RPA and other associated technology solutions, process design, implementation, and maintenance (Power Platform experience preferred).:Base understanding of core accounting processes. Understand, implement, and adhere to proper accounting controls.:Maintain communication and relationships with stakeholders within Compass. Qualifications: :Four:year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills required including Macros):Experience with code development using Microsoft Power Platform Applications (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate):Ability to create SQL code and workflows to produce (and understand) robotic process automations.:Ability to multi:task between various priorities, tasks, and timelines:Strong data analytic skills and working knowledge of business intelligence software available.:Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills:Strong organization and planning skills:Desire to continuously learn and grow as a professional:Collaborative : works well as a member of a team. :Experience with a large company and data volume:Experience with SAP or other large ERP:Accounting experience : 2 years corporate or 1:year public:Lead cross:department initiatives and projects.:Experience delivering presentations to Sr. Management and department customers.:Strong accounting knowledge and application of accounting:Experience with process improvement initiatives using documented project plan.:Experience mapping and flowcharting business and accounting processes Apply to Compass Group today Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
