SC&A is seeking a qualified Continuity, Planning, Training, and Exercise Analyst III to support Federal mission and program activities related to Federal homeland security, emergency management, and resiliency programs with a focus on continuity program delivery. The candidate will provide task management, analytical and related capabilities associated with Federal Continuity Programs in the areas of policy/doctrine, capability-based assessments, and planning and procedure development, training, and exercise support, including but necessary limited to, assisting with program management and technical support to various Federal clients; coordinating with applicable intra and inter agency stakeholders to establish and maintain continuity programs; provide collaborative Federal-level technical assistance in the development and/or refinement of plans, policies, and procedures; development and delivery of training and exercises; data collection, analysis, and reporting; meeting and event support. This is a D.C. based position and may require working on site at government locations in the Washington D.C. area at company’s office, telework, or a combination of each. Desired Skills and Capabilities The qualified candidate will possess: Strong writing/copy editing skills, database and list management skills, and expertise with Microsoft Office Suite. Expert written and oral communication skills. Proficient in SharePoint development. Adept analytical and problem-solving skills. Organizational and time-management skills. Experience and capabilities to deliver on all aspects of the continuity life-cycle. Fluency and understanding of continuity terminology and Federal continuity requirements. Understanding and experience in applying HSEEP framework for exercise design, deliver, and after action. Experience in designing and delivering continuity related training. Individuals who possess the following certifications will be viewed favorably: Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) / Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Professional Continuity Practitioner (PCP)/Master Continuity Practitioner (MCP), and/or Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) certifications Requirements US Citizen Bachelor's degree, preferably emergency management field Seven (7) or more years of experience in homeland security, continuity of operations and exercise planning Expertise with general office skills and software Ability to handle information confidentially SC&A is an employee-owned company with headquarters in Arlington, VA and offices in Chapel Hill, NC and Germantown, MD .
