Senior Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting ManagerLambda's GPU cloud is used by deep learning engineers at Stanford, Berkeley, and Carnegie Mellon. Lambda's on-prem systems power research and engineering at Intel, Microsoft, Kaiser Permanente, major universities, and the Department of Defense.If you'd like to build the world's best deep learning cloud, join us. -*Note: This position requires presence in one of our San Francisco Bay Area office locations (Currently San Jose, expanding to Peninsula/SF) 4 days per week; Lambda's designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.What You'll Do - Manage the preparation and timely submission of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with changes in regulations. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to audit requirements. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide technical guidance to finance and accounting teams on complex accounting issues. Participate in cross-functional teams to support financial reporting initiatives. Stay current on industry trends, accounting principles, and regulations to ensure compliance.You - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is required. Proven experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
