An example of the warhorse of the Olds Trombone line-up, the Ambassador.Manufactured in 1950 at their Los Angeles factory, this was the student line of Olds trombones, but they were built to the same exacting standards as their professional horns. That's exactly why after 74 years, this horn is still in playable (although cosmetically challenged) condition. Lots of play wear to the finish (see photos) but still ready to play as it is. Some dings here and there, surface rust and tarnish, but no wear to the inner slide. This would be a great project horn for refurbishing by a professional or for use as is for a beginning student. It can handle any punishment a young band student can dish out. Why rent when you can get this one for much less?Included is a period correct mouthpiece (Olds #3) and the original case (missing its handle).I ship the next day after payment is made via UPS.
