Junior Accountant

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist with various accounting tasks and contribute to the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for accuracy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing company. Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliations. Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, general ledger entries, and expense reports. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements. Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Support the preparation of financial reports for management review. Assist with audit preparations and respond to auditor inquiries. Stay updated on changes to accounting standards and regulations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Famous, Sage, SAP). Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. CPA certification or progress towards certification (preferred but not required).
