Hi, my name is Bernice, but my friends call me Bernie! I am pretty much a one person cat, and a serious lap cat - and my person has been pretty busy with life and thinks I would be much happier in a quieter home especially with somebody that is home more. So, about me - I am about 8 years old and would really like to be in a home where I can be your one and only. Initiallly, I might be a bit timid or aloof, but will warm up, once I am comfortable. There are dogs in my current situation and well, lets just say that is stressful for me. I have lived an indoor life and that suits me just fine! I am a pretty good lap cat, if that is what you are looking for. But I will warn you, when you plan on sitting down to watch TV, get all of the stuff you need before you sit down, because, when I see a lap, I am in it for the long haul.
