This position requires a deep understanding of juvenile law and criminal defense strategies.Duties:Provide legal representation to juveniles in court-appointed cases.Offer legal counsel and representation to juvenile clients in privately retained cases.Handle cases in other criminal defense areas, such as adult misdemeanors, writs, appeals, and related matters.Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and participate in court proceedings.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar with a clear standing.Prior experience practicing criminal law, preferably with a focus on juvenile defense.Strong understanding of juvenile law, criminal procedure, and relevant statutes.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:In-depth knowledge of juvenile law and criminal defense strategies.Legal research and writing skills.Courtroom litigation experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
