Lead by example and help us maintain our impeccable record. What You'll Do: Safe and Efficient Operation: Safely operate heavy equipment to remove scrap metal from various locations. Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the equipment you are using and report any issues promptly to the maintenance department. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and DOT regulations. Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork required for the delivery and receipt of scrap metal materials. Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and clients. Environmental Responsibility: Handle scrap metal materials in an environmentally responsible manner, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, front-end loaders, skid-loaders, etc. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to lift and move heavy materials. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
