***US Citizen ONLY***About the Role: Immediate opening for 2 Commercial HVAC Tech positions. This is a mid tier experienced HVAC tech position for commercial heating & air and refrigeration and control systems. This is a full-time position with consistent optional overtime. Responsibilities: Commercial HVAC Maintenance Tech, to work with Installation & repair of Commercial Heating and Cooling systems, & ControlsHVAC Startup, Warranty, and Factory Support Program the unit controller and VFD’s to match the design intent and sequence of operations. Proficient with computer interface for controls setup and possesses a good working understanding of BAS controls. Providing excellent customer service, and troubleshooting, problem solving, diagnosing and replacement recommendations for refrigeration and heating systems Will need to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s). Advise Service Coordinator of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken. Able to check safety & limit controls. PM & repair and assist in change outs of Commercial, Rooftop packages up to 30 tons and split units. Service Cooling Towers, Heat Pumps, Split systems, Rooftop Units, Refrigeration systems, DDC Controls, pneumatic control systems, and BAS Requirements Troubleshoot and maintain package units, high tonnage chillers, pump towers, cooling towers control systems, high tonnage boilersMechanical skills required to work on a variety of complex HVAC systems including fans, compressors,motor bearings, refrigeration circuits, burner set up, heat wheels, etc. Must have current OSHA 10 Training. Comfortable working around 5-ton to 200-ton package rooftop units under the direct supervision of a Lead Tech. Moderate PC skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Understanding Real Time Energy Management (RTEM) enabling Client Lift & move 75 lbs Have hand tools 3+ years experience working with commercial HVAC systems, Controls, startup and refrigeration. Will need experience with boilers, chillers, and pneumatic controls, digital controls and packaged HVAC equipment. Universal EPA certified Journeyman HVAC preferred but not required.
