We are seeking a dynamic Technical Support Engineer to join our team Title- Technical Support EngineerLocation -Sunnyvale , CA (Hybrid)Contract - 4 months (Likely of extension )Pay rate - $50 - $55/hr Bilingual - Fluent in Mandarin and English (Candidate would have to communicate with the team in Headquarters based out of Asia) Responsibilities: Manage merchant go-live, and post-sale payment monitoring and optimization for merchants and acquirers. Analyze data, identify pain points, and provide data-driven suggestions for business and payment performance optimization. Coordinate resources and respond quickly to online incidents, minimizing impact on merchants and improving collaboration between internal teams, payment channels, and partners. Coordinate and manage payment channels, including analysis of success rate, response time, downtime, and settlement, to support Ant's leading position in the payment industry. Stay updated on industry technology trends and present relevant advancements to drive future initiatives. Requirements: Experience, education, and skill set requirements Proficient in SQL and experienced in database management, data warehousing, and network fundamentals. Skilled in using Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. 3yr+ experience in data analysis, modeling, and leveraging data analysis for operational optimization. BS (or equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, or related field Excellent communication skills, and proficient in Mandarin Strong data sensitivity, logical analysis, and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to understand complex, multi-tier software systems. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations. Skill in decomposing complex systems for effective communication and troubleshooting.
