Entourage is accepting resumes for this role: Computer Support TechnicianPlace of Performance: Patrick AFB, FL General Description:Computer Support Technician shall manage, schedule and operate the telecommunication systems in support of classes and programs; computer support on the use of webinars, MS Office Suite products, data entry as required to maintain currency within the Air Force Family Integrated Result Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) database system and other web applications specified by Air Force; coordination of Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) staff marketing requests to support programs and services; coordination of required actions with the on-base organizations to obtain marketing resources. Specific Tasks:? Input case management and resources in the AFFIRST system. This information and notes shall be maintained at 95% accuracy at all times.? Assist customers in the Discovery room with computer access. Account for resource integrity and ensure safeguards are in place to prevent the loss of materials. Conduct weekly checks of client computer usage, ensuring that computers are being used for job search functions, relocation issues, deployment contacts, and not for unauthorized Internet sites. Maintain the appearance of the Discovery Resource Center. Report inoperable equipment to M&FRC management.? Coordinate, schedule, provide logistic support, develop processes, procedures, and conduct analysis of all telecommunication systems utilized by the M&FRC.? Perform minor troubleshooting on Wi-Fi, computers, printers, TVs and DVD players to include keeping printers operational by changing toner cartridges, ensuring cables are connected, assisting with using remote controls and ensuring customers know how to use equipment.? Coordinate with the M&FRC staff marketing requests to support the programs and services and then coordinate required actions with the on-base organizations to obtain the marketing resources. Update the video feeds displayed on the three marketing outreach televisions located in the M&FRC. Update the weekly board reflecting projected classes, programs, and events.? Coordinate with and obtain rosters from Program Services Manager in support of Transition Assistance Program (TAP). Extract and format from rosters and provide to TAP manager in format that will accurately identify all personnel within 365 of retirement or separation from active duty. Input data into Department of Defense TAP system. Qualifications:? Must have a strong working knowledge and capability to operate data entry device(s) to input lists, records, or other data points into an electronic format.? Must have a strong working knowledge of telecommunication systems and MS Office Suite Products.? Should be familiar with military rank structure, within a customer support and business environment.? Speak, write, read, and understand the English language fluently.
