The candidate will handle cutting-edge labor and employment litigation matters involving a broad range of interesting, high-profile clients and topics. Focus on defending clients in single and multi-plaintiff actions (in court and arbitration), defending employers in class and PAGA employment litigation, investigating and responding to administrative charges, and advising clients on employment-related matters. Duties:Defend clients in single and multi-plaintiff actions, both in court and arbitration settings.Represent employers in class and PAGA employment litigation.Investigate and respond to administrative charges.Provide advice and counsel to employers on various California-based employment issues.Offer day-to-day advice to clients, prepare handbooks and employment policies, and conduct training for managers and employees. Requirements:Juris Doctor degree.Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in California.5+ years of experience practicing labor and employment law, preferably with a focus on California employment law.Civil litigation and/or trial experience is a plus. Education:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in California. Skills:Strong understanding of labor and employment law, particularly California employment law.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
