Made Possible.MISSION / SUMMARY: Directs and controls the activities of the maintenance function to ensure that all production and support equipment is maintained at levels which are as efficient and reliable as possible. Ensures that the facility itself is maintained and is a safe work environment.JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.Instructions: This portion should include Principal Duties and Responsibilities for a position. Include only those current duties and responsibilities that account for 5% or more of the work. * Provide direct supervision, technical direction, administrative management, and leadership in the plant maintenance and engineering areas. * Ensures machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate * Manage plant-wide maintenance and capital, maximizing asset reliability, uptime, and cost effectiveness with available resources * Manage plant environmental programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations * Coordinate energy management optimization activities * Provide long-range planning for facility and equipment needs including capital and major repairs * Develops, implements, and oversees predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance programs * Uses other maintenance disciplines in the development and application of reliability engineering, root cause analysis and troubleshooting of equipment and processes * Consolidation of Business Unit Results with supporting explanations * Coaches and develops training plans for all maintenance technicians * Supervises the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner and Purchasing functions * Qualify Vendors and Contractors and negotiate terms and conditions * Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International's good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and TeamworkEDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: * Four-year degree in Engineering or related field preferred; or closely related work experience required in lieu of degree. * A minimum of 5 years' Maintenance experience preferred including: * Computer Maintenance Management Systems (preferably SAP) * Planning and Scheduling * Preventative/Predictive/Precision Maintenance * Central Stores Management * Reliability Engineering * Proficient with Microsoft Office suite as well as internet research skills * Proven track record of identifying opportunities and the ability to recommend and implement improvements * Budgeting and negotiating skills * Project Management * Leader with exceptional communication skills, good organization and the ability to communicate will all levels of the organization * Previous environmental experience a plusSCHEDULE DEMANDS: * General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedule; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so. * Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, or riding.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours. * Occasional bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling and twisting required * Simple and power grasping with both right and left hands is required * Occasional Lifting up to 25 lbs. * Reading computer screen or other electronic devices. * Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.KEY COMPETENCIES: * Integrity & Trust * Action Oriented * Customer Focus * Organization * Delegation * Business Acumen * PrioritizingGraphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
