Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, dental hygienist or sterilization technician. Certificate of Achievement in Dental Assisting, or On-the-job training as a Dental Assistant CA: RDA/RDAEF preferred BLS for Healthcare Providers, (AHA or ARC) Radiation Safety Training (Preferred, not required) CA IF RDA/RDAEF: CA Dental Practice Act certification IF not RDA/RDAEF: Infection Control certification (8 hour), CA Dental Practice Act certification (2 units)
