Job ID: 24-01627 Junior Software Engineer Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD MUST: Experienced Junior Software EngineerActive Secret clearance required3 years of software engineer experience requiredExperience working in C++ and Python.Agile development experience utilizing modern software automation tools to develop software to run on Linux/Windows environments.Familiarity with software testing principles and writing software.Knowledge of software testing frameworksBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred. DUTIES: Support algorithm/waveform/technique development existing primarily in the Radio Frequency (RF) space.Assist with the design and development of networking techniques and protocols, database management systems, and programming in high order languages (e.g., C++, Python).Leverage knowledge of software design principles to maximize readability and maintainability.Support the integration of sensor capabilities to include, but not limited to, activities that support hardware/software consolidation and virtualization and cybersecurity compliance.Assist with turning requirements and specifications into working software.Work with computer simulation, client-server architectures, networking techniques and protocols, databases (flat-file, relational, and object-oriented), high-order programming languages, and operating systems. *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
