About the Team As a member of our diverse and skilled Digital Solution Consulting team you will have the opportunity to wear lots of hats and be challenged daily. On a typical day, you will be working as part of a hardworking agile team responsible for conducting discovery calls and product solutioning to help perspective clients transform and streamline their business to its fullest potential, using market data strategic judgment to stay in front of our competitors. About the Role At Workday, Digital Solution Consulting is responsible for partnering with the sales teams and delivering product demonstrations to business users in the office of the CFO to highlight the value of Workday's platform as a true business decision making solution. Digital Solution Consulting focuses on add on opportunities across the North American Customer Base & our Emerging Markets Vertical.In this role, you will improve your polished presentation abilities, collaborative presales experience, and Financials expertise to articulate and differentiate the value for, and expand the adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS). Responsibilities include: Our Solution Consulting teams are strategically partnered with the sales organization: responsible for building a compelling vision of the Workday (Financials) solution and differentiators as part of a value selling approach. You will be equipped to provide in-depth Financials product knowledge to the sales team and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrationsAssist in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions while showcasing the value of our solution. Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validationAssist with responding to prospect Request for Proposals on an as needed basis.Ability to travel ~30%. Digital Presales will equip you with skills such as: Develop domain expertise and experience in Accounting, Finance and cross ERP functions in diverse industries, geographies, and company scalesStrong presentation skills -- including focused software demonstration techniques, sales messaging and storytelling. Build upon your solutioning skills by engaging with and presenting to various internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on the Chief Financial Office (CFO).Problem solving skills to address prospect concerns and requirements and craft creative solutions. Value based selling (value led approach) in a Solution Consulting environment.Strong technical and industry knowledge to assist with solutioning and problem solving.Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, working across various lines and business and partners to achieve positive customer outcomes, to become a trusted advisor and team player both internally and externally. About You Basic Qualifications 2 + years work experience demonstrating proven initiative and committed results in a Finance/ Accounting role.4+ years domain expertise and experience in Accounting, Financials, and cross ERP functions- including accounting, audit, ERP implementations, FP&A, etc. Other Qualifications: Solution Consulting experience with Financials enterprise business solutions a plus.Experience in Finance/ Accounting and a background in utilizing enterprise-grade ERP applications preferred.Ideal candidate will have experience working in various financial and/or accounting functions.Business fluency in English; Additional languages is a plus. Bachelor's degree (or a local equivalent experience) in Accounting or Finance. Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
