Quail Lodge & Golf Club is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our amazing Food and Beverage Team. In this role you will:* Work for a highly prestigious hotel located in sunny Carmel Valley, California.* Learn and grow within a strong hospitality operation.* Be provided exceptional medical benefits and employee discounts on lodge, golf, and dining services. Key Accountabilities* Provide management support in the oversight of an assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to guests* Plan, organize, control and direct front-line staff while ensuring the highest customer satisfaction* Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department.* Assist with the interview, selection, training, supervision, counselling, and disciplinary process of food and beverage management General Requirements * Minimum 2 years as restaurant floor experience as supervisor or manager* Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of education, training, and experience* Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required Benefits we offer* 10 vacation days per year* 5 sick days per year* 1 personal day per year* 8 holidays days per year* Complimentary employee meals* Complimentary parking* Discounted and complimentary room nights at The Peninsula Hotels* 25% restaurant discount* 40% discount on retail* Complimentary use of golf course* 80% company-paid medical, dental and vision coverage* Complimentary life insurance* Complimentary long-term disability* Retirement plan with 5% company match Salary: $72,000-75,000 per year
