12163314 CANADA CORP requires a Permanent & Full Time Consumable Purchaser. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply. Duties Include: Audit stock shortages weekly to ensure 0% downtime in the plant due to stock shortages, or shortage of supplies. Purchasing material for inventory and non-stock items. Reduce Purchasing Costs. Review orders daily to ensure they arrive on time. Maintain standard inventory levels and lists. Prioritize orders by importance on a daily basis. Daily communication with suppliers to build a strong customer relationship. Perform three price reviews per month, and create alternate supplier lists if required. Create a documentation process for tracking orders, audited monthly. Review Min/Max and issue POs based on requirements and usages daily. Ensure 100% of receiving goods are inputted into the tracking system. Verifying packing slips against goods received and ensure 100% accuracy. Discrepancies to be reported to suppliers on the same day. Fill purchase requisitions as needed. Coordinate the transfer of received goods between buildings. Conduct cycle counts on the consumable and update them in the ERP system. Education: A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration Experience: 1 year Work location: Various locations in lower mainland.
