Position Overview Reporting to the Regional shop Manager - Drug Distribution Services, the Manager, Drug Distribution is responsible for the safe, effective and efficient provision of drug distribution services. The manager works collaboratively with other members of the WRHA shop Program’s Management Team to ensure that the compounding, preparation and delivery of medications to patient care units meets high standards for quality and patient safety and is aligned with the strategic priorities of the Program. The manager is responsible for the selection, training, discipline and evaluation of shop technicians, shop assistants, shop technicians in training, and support staff with respect to expected performance and competencies and supports the operational, fiscal and strategic objectives of the WRHA shop Program. Experience Three (3) years experience as a shop Assistant or shop Technician is required. Experience in a hospital shop is preferred. One (1) year related supervisory/management experience or equivalent education/training is preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Recognized or eligible to be recognized as a shop Technician by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (CPh M) is required. Successful completion of a CCAPP Accredited shop Technician Certificate OR completion of the program prescribed by the College. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
