Position Overview The Clinical Educator provides leadership in the backssment of learning needs, and in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs for staff. The educator acts as a role model and change agent. Experience Experience in program planning, development and evaluation required. Demonstrated clinical expertise in surgery or critical care required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related undergraduate degree required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related discipline preferred. Certificate in adult education preferred. Certification/Licensure/Registration Current registration with CRNM. Instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required Appropriate C. N. A. Certification (or equivalent), for program area Active participation in professional associations e. g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Qualifications and Skills Knowledge (this may include but not be limited to): Demonstrate progressive levels of responsibilities and leadership skills required. College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered nurses. Canadian Nursing Association code of Ethics for Registered Nurses. Scope of practice as documented in the.
