Job Summary: The role is to work on process design and improvements for manufacturing to increase productivity and improve manufacturing flow. Required Education and Experience: University degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology 5 - 8 years of various manufacturing processes (stamping, moulding, fabrication, welding, assembly, etc ) and tooling experience (in automotive environment is preferred) Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong facilitation skills Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, Outlook) knowledge Knowledge in CAD : 3D Models, Drawings and GD&Ts an asset Essential Functions: Consistently develop, backss, and implement continuous improvement projects in relation to current or future project planning. Improve efficiency of processes through lean manufacturing tools. Analyse data and identify root causes of defects. Provide corrective actions to improve a particular.
