Role Highlights: Role Title: Specialist Surveyor (Damp and Major Repairs)Full Time Pay Rate: Umbrella Department: Repairs Client Team, The Economy Type: Temporary Role About the Role: As a Specialist Surveyor, you will be a pivotal technical member of our Client Repairs team, engaging in a wide array of Building Surveying Services. From specification writing to enforcement inspections, youll tackle it all. Your specialization in identifying and prescribing solutions for mould and damp problems will be at the forefront. Youll work closely with customers, contractors, and various Council Officers, ensuring the Repairs Service is seamlessly delivered. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and diagnose damp and condensation issues, offering expert advice. Prepare comprehensive specifications and tender works in compliance with regulations. Manage projects and assist with major repairs to both occupied and vacant properties. Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure adherence to health and safety laws. Collaborate with stakeholders, offering technical guidance and expertise. Contribute to policy development and participate in audits and reviews. Your Profile: You are the perfect fit for this role if you possess: Proven expertise in building surveying, diagnosing defects, and specifying remedial works. A track record of successful project management and collaboration with stakeholders. Strong knowledge of building regulations, CDM regulations, and related legislation.
